Vaisakko Nature Trail

Bordered by Viurilanlahti Bay, the Vaisakko Nature Reserve on the western shore of Halikonlahti Bay is composed of typical rocky forests interspersed with groves. The area’s hardwood forests and massive oaks are unique and home to many rare fungi and lichen species. Vaisakko is at its best in spring when the anemones bloom. The length of the entire route is about 4.3 kilometres, and the nature trail covers about 2.5 kilometres of the total length.
