Salo Art Museum Veturitalli
The old roundhouse was transformed into Salo Art Museum while respecting the history of the building. The roundhouse has been expanded in several stages throughout its history that spans over 100 years. As a result of the last extension, the building was converted into an up-to-date art museum, which was opened to the public in 1998. The old steam locomotive from 1921 creates a nostalgic feel. Salo Art Museum Veturitalli organises diverse exhibitions all year round, alongside concerts and other events.
Salo Art Museum is open during exhibitions Tues–Fri 10am–6pm and Sat–Sun 11am–4pm. Closed on Mondays and during exhibition changes. For latest information on exhibitions, visit the museum’s website.
Entrance fee 10 € / 7 €, Museum card, children under the age of 18 free of charge.
