Metsäketun Kievari

Metsäketun Kievari is an experiential destination built on Taivasmaa Farm, where you can enjoy incredible taste experiences alongside the relaxing atmosphere of a working farm – and even take a dip while you’re at it.

At Metsäketun Kievari, you’ll find the charming Metsäketun Pizzeria restaurant, which has been operating on the barn’s upper level for three years now. There’s also a 7-hectare adventure trail built into the forest, as well as the farmyard with its summer games and friendly sheeps.

In addition, this year brings two exciting new additions to the farmyard: the cozy Fox Café (Kettukahvila), set up inside a large tipi tent, and the relaxing Field Spa (Peltokylpylä), complete with saunas, a hot tub, and a natural swimming pond.

We offer handmade pizzas prepared with love, delicious desserts, and tasty savory snacks. At Metsäketun Kievari, the ingredients are the soul of our restaurant and café. We grow and forage part of our produce on our own fields and in the nearby forests, and the rest comes from producers located as close as possible.Metsäketun Kievari will open its doors again on Taivasmaa in May 2026 and will be open on Saturdays – and occasionally on Sundays too. Until we open, Metsäketun Pizzeria Take-Away serves its delicious artisan pizzas from our food cart in Salo on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:00 to 20:00 at Hämeentie 37.
