Kullanpuu’s Farm Stay

Kullanpuu is one of the oldest farmhouses in the historic ironworks village of Kirjakkala. It’s an ideal getaway for families traveling with pets or for groups looking to spend quality time together in a peaceful, natural setting. The property is located right next to Teijo National Park, offering direct access to stunning nature.

Our rooms are designed for restful sleep and a harmonious atmosphere. The house sleeps up to 12 guests (8 in the main building and 4 in the renovated barn). You can also book a traditional wood-heated sauna and/or a hot tub for your stay.

The house was fully renovated in 2022 and features a modern, fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a 180 cm double bed, a cozy living room with a fireplace (plus two sofa beds), a hallway area with an additional sofa bed, and a modern bathroom with toilet and shower. The restored barn provides additional accommodation for four guests.

The spacious 1.5-hectare yard includes a wood-heated sauna, hot tub, terrace, an open well, and a bambi tower. In summer 2025, we completed a fully equipped and covered outdoor kitchen. The outdoor grill is large enough for big groups and includes a pizza oven as well. The yard is fully fenced, and there is parking space for several cars. This destination is especially well-suited for families with children and pets, as well as for groups of friends or colleagues.
